Black Brunswicker (US/UK) Growing up in the American midwest but now living in the English northwest, Black Brunswicker (Etta Helfrich) blends delicately picked acoustic guitar with tape loops and textures to create expansive ambient folk soundscapes. With music influenced by travel and nature, her 2022 release ‘High Peaks’ was partly inspired by trips to the Peak District. Her latest album ‘Been Around Here Before’ (Nettwerk Music) is a collection of DIY folk-brushed ambient that balances noise with beauty.

Junee (Genève) “cosmic weird pop” is a bold and delicate project launched by two musicians well-versed in the performing arts. Fhunyue Gao (RobinRobin, Gao Kacirek, F月 G) & Zoé Sjollema (Citron Citron), present to you a slow waltz that oscillates between pop and experimental music, knowing how to transform itself when the time comes, into a tempestuous ocean that seizes the body. The theremin embraces and the violin envelops, or perhaps it is the other way around? One cannot ignore the muffled urgency in this melodic and grating siren song, guiding our wounded souls into dark or celestial corners, nor the intensity that multiplies as it splits over synthesized ribbons.
